Knicks Club Home
What we collect, why, and what we do with it

Privacy.

Plain language. No legal mumbo jumbo. We're a fan club, not a data broker.

What we collect

When you apply: first name, last name, email, optional phone number, your neighborhood, your favorite Knick, your t-shirt size, and a few preferences about how you want to be contacted. Plus your quiz score and how many tries it took (we think this is a fun stat, not a judgment).

We do not collect anything else. We do not run analytics that track you across the web. We do not have a Facebook pixel.

How we use it

To decide whether to invite you to meetups. To send you meetup invitations. To know roughly where members live so we can pick bars that work for the room.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone outside the small group of people who run the club. We do not run targeted ads.

Where it lives

Your application is stored in a content management system called Sanity. Email notifications (when configured) go through a service called Resend. Both are reputable companies with their own privacy policies.

How to delete it

Email hello@knicksclub.com and ask. We will delete your application and any associated data within seven days. We will confirm by email when it is done. We may keep a record of the deletion request itself for our own records.

The members page

If your application is accepted, your first name, last initial, neighborhood, and favorite Knick appear on the public members page. Your full last name, email, phone, t-shirt size, and quiz score never appear publicly. Ask us to remove your card and we will.

Cookies

We use one cookie—ish thing: a small flag in your browser that remembers you passed the quiz so you do not have to take it twice. That is it. No tracking cookies. No analytics cookies. Visiting `?reset` clears the flag.
